This project was recently completed for a customer in need of a fully accessible outdoor space for a family member who uses a wheelchair. The goal was to design a garden that allowed complete freedom of movement, while still maintaining a stylish and modern finish.
The finished garden transformation features two beautifully laid Indian sandstone patios, a purpose-built pergola, and a smooth resin-bound pathway designed specifically for easy wheelchair access. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure both style and practicality, including crisp steel edging to define the space and smart, modern fencing to complete the look. The result is a stunning, fully functional outdoor space that’s not only accessible but also a real pleasure to spend time in. We’re incredibly proud of the result, and our customer is absolutely delighted with their new garden.
We were delighted to transform the outdoor space at Seren Fach Nursery in Ponthir, Newport, creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment where young children can learn, play, and explore with confidence. Every detail of the project was carefully planned to ensure the space was both practical and inspiring.
To ensure safety was the top priority, we installed brand-new redwood fencing and secure gates, creating a fully enclosed and protected area. Durable safety rubber tiles were also laid throughout the play zones, providing a soft, impact-absorbing surface for children to enjoy safely.
To encourage creativity, learning, and sensory exploration, we installed a bespoke pergola and custom-built timber planters. These were filled with a carefully selected mix of sensory planting, including fragrant lavender and rosemary, soft ornamental grasses, and colourful flowers such as pansies, violas, and vibrant rudbeckia. Finishing touches such as wind chimes and butterfly and dragonfly wall art add movement, colour, and interest, helping to create an engaging outdoor space that supports imagination, discovery, and early learning.
Another Newport transformation complete! We’ve taken a plain new build garden and turned it into a vibrant, inviting space bursting with life and colour. Gorgeous Raj Green porcelain paving sets a sleek foundation, complemented by sturdy sleeper beds and a lush premium lawn.
The real show-stoppers are the plantings. Ornamental cherries, birches, and eucalyptus add height and movement, while a mix of astilbe, skimmia, photinia, dogwood, and bamboo brings texture and year-round interest.
