We were delighted to transform the outdoor space at Seren Fach Nursery in Ponthir, creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment where young children can learn, play, and explore with confidence. Every detail of the project was carefully planned to ensure the space was both practical and inspiring. We installed brand-new redwood fencing and secure gates, along with durable safety rubber tiles to provide a safe surface where the children can play.
To encourage outdoor learning and sensory play, we installed a pergola and bespoke planed timber planters, filled with a thoughtfully selected mix of sensory plants. Fragrant lavender and rosemary, soft ornamental grasses, and colourful pansies, violas, and vibrant rudbeckia invite children to engage their senses and interact with nature. Finishing touches such as wind chimes and butterfly and dragonfly wall art add movement, colour, and interest, helping to create an engaging outdoor space that supports imagination, discovery, and early learning.
