Distinction Gardens
This is our second year of working with Distinction to both maintain and develop our Abergavenny garden situated on a steep slope in the foothills of the Sugarloaf. Both the site and the weather conditions are challenging.
Jay and Stefan - our regular team - have been excellent partners and superb in, not only improving our newly landscaped/planted garden, but also putting forward (and completing) excellent suggestions to make this a very special place. They are sensitive to the location – at the very edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and adjacent to a listed walled garden – and have worked with us on a naturalistic approach whilst maintaining the site in excellent condition. The results have brought us much joy.
Above all, Jay and Stefan are a delight to work with - friendly, punctual, attentive, very hard working, tidy and happy to work together with us on a combined approach to constantly improve this unusual garden.
We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others and can guarantee that the results will be most gratifying.

Can't speak highly enough of the work and whole process from start to finish.
The garden was one big mud pit before and on a big slope too. After listening to our likes and dislikes and what we wanted to use the space for, Richard came up with a design that worked for us. The work was done by Johnny, Ryan and Gerrard who were great and who really know their stuff. They involved us throughout, taking into account our preferences as the design evolved. They did a brilliant job.
We'd highly recommend the whole team to anyone looking to landscape their garden. We'll definitely be booking them for any future work we need doing.

The team at Distinction Gardens have transformed our large garden plot into a stunning space which is now wheelchair friendly providing lovely resin bound gravel paths, patio areas with pergola, veg patch and replacement fencing.
Jonny and Ryan supported by Gerald worked at full pelt through some very wet weather to complete the project on time and were able to help with some additional tasks from the original scope which was much appreciated. It was a pleasure working with all of the team, the communication was great, Richard always quick to return calls and from my initial enquiry visited site in a matter of days to discuss the project and make suggestions to the design. I would highly recommend Distinction Gardens services and will be asking them back for help in Spring with lawn laying.
